Cooperation for conservation of the Arctic fox is being extended and, for the first time ever, a joint programme of action for an endangered species has been signed between three countries. In March, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Norwegian Environment Agency and the Finnish Ministry of the Environment adopted a decision on an updated programme of action for the Arctic fox. As far as Sweden was concerned, the programme was drawn up by the County Administrative Board of Västerbotten on behalf of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency..
